baby shower game prizes
if you went to a baby shower and won a game, what would be a prize that you would love getting?
i'm hoping to have about 4-5 games at a shower i'm putting together for a friend. what would make a good prize for the games?
so far, i'm thinking the games will be:
* baby bingo
* memory (a "center piece" of baby items will be on a table. i'll take it away and have the guests try to remember as many items as they can)
* pin the sperm on the egg (this is still a maybe)
* animal baby match game
* baby lotto
* don't say baby
* dirty diaper

I like lottery tickets/hand sanitizers/hand soaps/picture frames/...bath n body works is perfect for little gifts.

At the most recent shower I went to (that wasn't mine!) the prizes they gave were scratch-off lottery tickets. They were a big hit!
The "Don't say 'baby'" game, however was not a big hit. And the what-kind-of-melted-candy-looks-like-poop-in-a-diaper game didn't go over too well at another shower I went to.
People seemed to like trivia - Finish the nursery rhyme ("There was an old woman who lived in a _____", etc.); match the crazy celebrity baby name with the celebrity baby; name the tv/movie children (Like, name the 3 Tanner children on "Full House")... those have always gone over better.
Have fun planning! I just went through all this and it's so much work, but worth it.

thanks for the info on the games.
the dirty diaper game isn't the candy bar game... at least, that's not what i was planning. this is where everyone gets a little diaper pin to wear. close to the end of the day, i announce that someone has a dirty diaper. the person whose diaper has a little smudge of mustard wins a prize.
i just saw the idea of the nursery rhymes as i was poking around. thanks for letting me know that people like it!!

we did the baby match game at my shower and i made a cute safari themed game sheet with it.
also did the can't say baby game with clothespins, baby shower bingo, and match the length an animal is pregnant with the animal. (jungle safari themed shower)
the prizes were mostly little gift baskets my sister made full of bath and body work items
ETA: I think scratch-offs are a really great prize also

My sister-in-law just had a baby shower and for the prizes, we went to Home Goods and filled up a picnic basket type thing with lotions, hand towels, sheet spray, room deoderizer, etc. that looked like it all came together. Cheap, and everyone was so excited to reach into the basket and pick a prize!

This is a geat idea. I like he candles from bath and body also
I would steer clear of pin the sperm on the egg

honestly, the idea just made me 
there are two baby showers that i'll be helping to plan. one of them, i have a very good feeling the mom will not find it cute... the other, i think she'll pee in her pants at the idea

I'm a fan of gift card prizes. $5.00 Starbucks or DD gc's are always a hit... I like the scratch-off idea too. I don't really like the lotion/bath soap stuff too much b/c I really don't use that stuff. JMO!
