A little hope....
I haven’t been a frequent poster but I have been lurking on this board since before my wedding.
I have always knew my dream was to be a mom, and once I got engaged I was beyond thrilled not only to get married but knew my dream of a family was closer.
A few mths before our wedding we started to try thinking it would be a great surprise for everyone at the end of the wedding to tell them we were expecting.
Well fastforward no luck we kept trying for about 9 mths naturally but nothing and I have pcos so I knew I would need help. We went to a RE and at first she was reluctant saying its because I am overweight that’s why im having troubles.
So I switch to a new RE and we start provera and metformin in November.
We started our first IUI cycle Feb without injectables only clomid BFN
Next cycle same thing BFP but lost baby 2 weeks later.
April IUI cycle with Follistim, Menopur and hcg BFN
May same cycle BFN
I was beginning to loose hope as friends who weren’t even in relationships were telling me they were pregnant. I was making a decent amount of eggs dtd a lot to help increase our chances.
June comes around same cycle however dr decides to double the menopur. This cycle I only make 3 eggs which was little compared to my other cycles. Dr tells me not to get too excited the eggs weren’t perfect. I go for my beta 2 weeks later BFP!!
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with TRIPLETS!!!!!
I just wanted to share my story with you girls incase anyone needs a boost today ?
Believe me I know how hard it is, its unfair now I have every dr trying to tell me to reduce its all so much to take in. WE struggle in so many different ways, ways that ppl will never understand. This all had changed the person I am.

i cannot tell you how much i needed to read this today. i just read it to DH too and we are both sitting here crying. it's been a hard day for us as we've realized that our 3rd IUI cycle is most likely a bust (BFN this morning but no AF yet). i'm overweight too and all day i've been beating myself up thinking i should just lose weight and maybe then i could get preggo. anyway, thank you for your story. it REALLY does give me hope!
