Cat/Kitten Food Ques
My adult cat only eats dry food. We tried giving her wet but she wants nothing to do with it.
We recently got a kitten and she's eating her dry food, but not a lot of it. Yesterday we gave her some wet kitten food and she loved it! I was planning on giving her wet in the morning and at night while keeping dry kitten food out for her during the day.
Ques. . .
My friend just told me that I shouldn't give wet food. Wet food is bad. Bad for their teeth and digestive system.
Is that true?
Going to ask the vet as well over the weekend when we see him, but was hoping to get some feedback before then.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Cat/Kitten Food Ques
I was told to give cats wet food since they will get water from wet food and also they're carnivores and should not eat dry food since it doesnt have enough animal protein in it.
I give my cat wet and dry food, i leave the dry food out for him and he gets wet food twice a day. The dry food is there so he doesnt get hungry if he eats all his wet food.

Re: Cat/Kitten Food Ques
you should give a mix. Not just one or the other. Cat's are strictly meat eaters (but will eat everything but only really digest protein) they need meat as the main ingredient in all foods. Wet food reduces the amount of feces the cat produces so the more wet food the less poop you have to pick up.
