When did you pack your hospital bag...and..

this might be a stupid question, but how do you pack your clothes when I will still be wearing most of the stuff for the next few weeks. I only have about 10 tanks/shirts, 4 pants and a few night gowns that still fit me and wear these in constant rotation. I am 30 weeks but everyone keeps telling me to pack now!

Also, besides 2 boppys is there anything else that differs with twin hospital bags?

I didn't pack them and at 33 weeks I had an emergency c section. I didn't have alot of clothes either but I would at least have the bag and your toiletries etc in there and leave some clothes in there so you are not running around like a nut like I was. Even if you have a pair of pjs and one outfit in there your
DH can bring you the rest!

I didnt pack and I had the twins at 30 weeks. Without absolutely any warning. Things happen. Maybe if you feel you're going to be using a lot of things still at least write up a list so that when it does get closer you wont have to try and remember everything.

I didn't pack in advance. Once I was admitted, I gave my mom a list of things to put in a bag for me. Almost none of it was clothes. This is what I wanted/ used:

robe
flip flops (hospital showers = gag)
slippers
hair straightener and blow dryers
make-up
2 pairs of pjs
cell charger
2 boppys
camera
sports bras (wasn't BF'ing; wanted to keep milk from coming in)
1 coming home outfit for me

I told her to send in underwear for me, but I had a c/s and just used the disposable underwear from the hospital the whole time (it was much more comfortable).

I was team green so I didn't tell her to send the kids coming home outfits until after I had them! lol.

Oh gosh asking DH is out. If I asked him to bring me stuff from home for me and the babies, I would end up with two 9 month onsies, my OLD size 4 jeans,and a few pair of thongs for me can we say clueless

I was in the same situation!! I wrote out a list of things that I would need for the hospital and then packed the night before my scheduled c-section

I packed the day I went in for my c-section. I just grabbed random things and threw them into my bag. I pretty much left the hospital gown on anyway bc I was so swollen.
The IMPORTANT things are video camera, camera, chargers, cell phone & chargers.

I packed what I could pretty early and then left a list on top of my bag for the last-minute items.

I packed around 30 weeks. I just set aside 1 pair of stretchy yoga pants and a few of DH's t-shirts

I didn't bring a thing for the girls except their coming home outfit. And we were fine.

I never packed a bag...I had been in L&D three times before I had my babies...you'd think that I would go home and pack a bag!


I was in the hospital for 6 days when I had my boys. My DH brought up a few things for me that I requested.
