looks like im still having loooong cycles after my d&c

i feel like this is never ending, after suffering a missed miscarriage, on fathers day no less, at what should have been 12 weeks (baby was measuring at 9wks) i still have no signs of AF...i just want to put this behind me and start trying again and this is torture! my gyn said that it looks like my cycles are going to pickup where they left off and i feel helpless! sorry to vent, i havent posted since the d&c because i felt that writing about it made it real and i wanted to just make it go away, no such luck! all of you ladies are wonderful and i wish to all of us!

well i had asked her, somewhat optimistically, if my cycles maybe would be normal after the procedure at my follow up and she said that i would prob continue to have the long cycle issue i had annovulatory cycles and saw an re, took 50mg of Clomid and had a trigger shot and got preggo, but im soo nervous to go through it all again, all the monitoring and what not. i know other people have it so much worse, i just want her to come already! by the time people are starting their second cycle, im waiting on my first! its just discouraging thank you for your well wishes

So sorry!

It took me a little over 5 weeks to get my period after my D&C. Can you ask your Dr if you should get provera (i think that is the drug that brings on your period)?

how does the provera work, i am new to all this...is it a one time shot to bring it on and you regulate for periods thereafter? unfortunately, this is a dr that i met at the er the day of d&c ( i has switched practices due to my job changing ins) so i have no established relationship...not that that should matter i just guess i feel like a burden with all my questions and miss my old dr that i had since the age of 16. have you had experience with provera? ty!!
