Only 1 frosty???--Good update
They called this morning and told me they were able to freeze ONE. I'm really surprised. I had 22 eggs, 13 fertilized. They transferred 2. I can't believe only ONE out of eleven made it. And it's not covered by insurance, so I'm kind of struggling with paying $1000 for ONE to be frozen.
I hope I get some GOOD news soon. I feel like a planet I'm so bloated!
UPDATE: They called today and said they were able to freeze 2 more, so now I have 3! I feel so much better

I believe you go to the same RE as me. My doctor told me that they have a very strict criteria for what gets to be frozen. Your embryos probably didn't meet their criteria. I don't know if its good or bad, wasting money for freezing and paying for a FET or paying for a fresh cycle  Good luck

We're really having so many of the same experiences this week/weekend! I got a call today than only 2 were frozen. I had similar #s - 17 eggs retrieved, 12 fertilized, and on Day 4 12 were still "developing and looking great." One was transferred and 2 frozen - I thought there'd be more as well.
Let's just hope this works for both of us - 1 week, 2 days to go....

So weird!!! I keep wanting to think positively, because I think it would help the process, but I'm so nervous/down. I just want it to be the 15 already!

I'm glad you got 3! 3 is a great number. I have done that before for FETs and have had success (successful pregnancy and chemical)
