How many convertible carseats?

My parents will be watching the babies 3 days a week. I am trying to figure out how many convertible car seats to get.


They will be watching them tues-wed-thurs.

Right now we have 4 convertible car seats for mine and Dh's cars.

should we get 2 more for my moms car or is this silly? Would it be annoying to take the car seats out of dhs car every tues and put them back in thursday afternoon. I feel like this will get old fast.

Right now we have 2 graco myrides and 2 britax roundabouts. If we were to buy another 2 is there an inexpensive one you recommend.

i usually leave my car and take my moms if she plans on going anywhere. for the most part she doesnt go anywhere with them. she did get a used car seat from a friend. i'd say ask around before buying them. walamrt has the cosco seats pretty cheap thats what we got for dh's car and they have good safety ratings
i personally think it would be silly to swap them.

We just got a convertible for DH's car for 3 year old DS. And only because DH takes DS to soccer once a week and I hate being without my car.

Are you absolutely positive you need 2 convertible car seats in DH's car?

Otherwise I like the above suggestion. Leaving your mom with your car and taking her car when she wants to take the kids somewhere.

will one of you always be doing the dropping off and picking up? we never had seats in DH's car....we just had them in mine. if you don't really NEED them in his car i wouldn't get 2 more. you know you always have the 2 at your moms is needed.

Thanks girls...we def don't need them in DH's car...we never even installed the infant bases in his car. We probably will only use his car if we are going to go on a longer trip bc it gets much better gas mileage. so we can probably leave them with my mom and then if we know we need them take them.
