Back from the doctor
and MORE confused than before I went. If you don't remember me I was told I had a molar pregnancy. Today I went for my Post Op and first blood draw.
Well when we talked to the doctor she asked how I was feeling if I had any pain and if I have had a period. I said I believed I was having one now and no to the other two. She then asked when my last pap was and I said at the beginning of the pregnancy and she said okay Ill see you in a year
I said but I still need to go for monthly blood draws and if the pregnancy was partial or complete molar. SHE LOOKED AT ME LIKE I HAD 100 HEADS! and said that it was just a normal miscarriage and the woman who scheduled my D&C had typed the wrong code in so the next doctor saw it and explained it (in this health system you have 6 different doctors they work as a "team") and she was the one who had done the D&C and she has the whole work up right there... that I can try and get pregnant again after a normal period, and I didn't need a blood draw today or ever.
I don't know how something like that could happen?? I am nervous they are wrong about being wrong again because they received the ultrasound photos from the near by hospital that is no associated with them. I then miscarried large clots for 3-4 days before going in that felt exactly like they said a molar pregnancy would feel like (a bunch of grapes) with contractions. Maybe I had passed all the abnormal cells by the time I went in for the D&C. Not to be rude but is that what any miscarriage is suppose to feel like?
We recently moved to the middle of nowhere PA and There is no other doctor that takes our insurance within an hour drive. I am happy that we don't have to wait the 6 months to a year. But like I said I am just confused at this point. My health reports still says removal of "HYDATIDIFORM MOLE" I am going to email them and ask them to change it.
I know I am probably over reacting she said she remembered and that she was certain but i am just feeling very confused

Re: Back from the doctor
that happened to me... after the initial m/c i was given cytotec and passed several small clots and it felt very much like the size of grapes with minor contractions... i actually pushed some of them out!
i do understand your apprehension of this news and possibly thinking there is another mistake... but im very happy that you didnt have a molar pregnancy... waiting a year would be torturous....

Re: Back from the doctor
Wow- this is unbelievable!!! I would be so confused too and you are definitely not overreacting. I would go back to the team of doctors and ask whatever questions you need to, to ease your mind. I am sooooo sorry you're going through this

Re: Back from the doctor
I would absolutely go back and keep going back or seeing new doctors until you get a clear picture of what happened and what your next steps should be.
