Dead Reckoning (Sookie #11) is out today!
I can't wait to get into it tonight! 
I really hope it's better than Dead in the Family was.

I just found this out today....I thought it wasn't due out til mid to late May...so excited!!!
I gotta skim through Dead in the Family beforehand...dont remember how it ended.

it was ok. then ending doesn't suit me. (i dont want to give anything away, so i won't say why i didn't like the ending)
the first 8 books or so were so good. I couldn't put them down. the last few just haven't really excited me all that much

I got mine in the mail the day it came out and I am barely half way through it.....I usually cant put this series down but this just isnt keeping me hooked

Feel the same...they've definitely changed, and not for the better. I feel like the fairies really killed it.

I really hate the fairies. Claudine was the only one I liked.

I liked when 1 or 2 things were happening at once. But book #12 will have alot to do with Sookie and Eric's relationship for sure.

ITA. I enjoyed it much more than Dead in the Family. I just feel like the author is writing just for the sake of writing and not because she has a good story to tell. Her stories were always so intricate and clever and now they seem a little boring and like everyone else said, all over the place. There were a few different little stories going on but I didn't feel that burning desire to find out what's going to happen like I used to in her books. Every since Sookie was kidnapped by the fairies and tortured she hasn't been the same.
