Weight gain and period
Do you find that you tend to gain weight a few days BEFORE your period, or do you gain it DURING your period? I'm just curious. I haven't lost any weight since last Saturday, and I am due for AF next week. I know people always say you gain around your period, but I wanted to know specifically, do people gain more before it, or is the gain using during it? I don't want to blame AF if that is not really the cause.

I've noticed I usually gain about 1lb around ovulation time and about 1-2lbs right before I get AF. Usually by a day or two after it starts I'm back down.

I gain a good 4-5 lbs of bloat between ovulation and AF. It's awful.

I gain up to 7 lbs before AF and lose it all after. Once my period is done then I finally asses my weight loss for the month. I never really beat myself throughout the month because my weight fluctuates like crazy, especially right before my period.

About a week before my period, I gain weight & then it comes right off after the first day or two of my period.

I gain 5 -6 lbs usually about 4 days before my period is due...it comes off usually by the 3rd day of AF.

I gain about 2-3 lbs a few days before I get AF and then lose the weight on day 3 of AF.
