Went camping this weekend
DS and I went camping this weekend with Cub Scouts. Saturday was great. Played games, played with the fire, grilled burgers and dogs, told "scary" stories at night (7-11 year olds have a different idea of a "scary story" than I do....  )
However, I found out that night that my tent is water RESISTANT.... and some of the families in tents down hill found out that they don't really keep 3 inches of standing water out of the tent..... 
Needless to say, we cut the Sunday morning plans a little short....

Were you out at Schiff in Wadding River? We were there! The boys thought it was the best camping trip ever. I dont know what they liked more camping in the the storm on Sun or all the scout activities on Sat. This one was a memory maker for sure.

No, we were at Cathedral Pines in Yaphank. A friend of mine was in Wading River with his boys, though. He told me about the minivan that was in a gully up to the top of the tires!
