There is an adorable new place in port Jeff called the secret garden. You have to check it out. It's so quaint and decorated beautifully. My mom wanted to have mine there but they can only accommodate around the number you have. It's right on main street. Stop in for lunch one day with the girls and you'll love it!!

Not sure how far east, but I've been to great showers at Villa Tuscano in Hampton Bays. We plan on doing the baptism there.

I just booked the christening at the Oar House in Patchogue. they have a private room with a fireplace and it is a nautical theme. There prices are great and they give lots of options.

Just had my SIL's at Shandong Court in East Islip. It was phenomenal. A LIF person suggested it.

J&R's steakhouse has a nice party room and is the cheapest I have seen, and great food too
also Sonoma Grill has a great private party room
