would this be obnoxious?

So it is August 30th and I'm sitting here on my computer still without a full-time teaching position for the 2011-2012, and, frankly, I'm terrified. I'm not even sure if it's worth it to follow up again for the third time with schools who received my resume in April and May. The first follow-up had an updated resume when I finished my MA and received an additional certification in June. The second follow-up was in mid-August when I wanted to advise principals I was still available for employment. Several schools were nice enough to write back they will keep my resume on file and contact me if a position becomes available but over 90% of the schools never replied. I want to drop to them that I did have a job offer at a very, very desirable NYC public school that was revoked when the incumbent teacher rescinded their resignation. In a final follow up email would it be obnoxious to conclude with this:

Please note my fingerprints have already been cleared by the DOE because a gifted & talented school hired me in early May but had to revoke the offer back in mid-June because the teacher I was slated to replace rescinded their resignation.

It's kind of a passive-aggressive way to demonstrate to the school how suitable I am for their opening and with it being so late in the hiring season, it could be helpful for them to know that my fingerprints have been cleared.

If you were the P, would you be turned out off by hearing that line about already being hired?

I don't think it would be "obnoxious" but I wouldn't do it. I would be concerned that the additional follow up may be to much. Good luck though!

Try not to take it personally that you are not hearing back. If there are no positions to fill, then that's that. I wouldn't go for a third contact. Good luck and hope that something surfaces!
