mom's ttc 2nd pregnancy or more

Did it take the longer the second time? My two previous pregnancies (one miscarriage) I got pregnant first month trying. This time I am pretty sure I am not pregnant again this month and I will be going on cycle 4.

I know this is not a very long span of time, but I can't help but worry that something is not right with either my DH or myself. I KNOW we are BD the right times.

At what time would you go see a doctor for some tests? I feel like I should go sooner since I know we are BD the right times and I have been pregnant before.

5yrs ago With dd I got preggo 1st month TTC, April I got preggo 1st shot TTC also, but I had a chemical pregnancy, then after 4 more cycles, I was getting soo upset after getting negatives... I got my BFP, don't give upnhope, it will happen when it's right!!!

When I had DD I got BFP the first month trying. Now TTC for my second and I am on my 8th month trying. I think I'm out and on to month 9.

First pregnancy I got pregnant the second month trying. Second time TTC it took 7 months and we just started the process of testing etc. b/c I was 36. That pregnancy ended in a MC. I am now on my 2nd month of trying, hoping it is quicker this time! Good luck!

DC #1 - Went to RE in September. Was on Metformin and ovulated on my own in Dec. One egg, one IUI and I was pregnant with my DD.

TTC #2 - Back to RE and over the course of 10 months filled with Clomid, hcG injections, Metformin, and IUI's I miscarried THREE times and had 4-5 failed IUI's. I lost count. So needless to say TTC #2 has been WAAAAAAAY harder. Ran out of insurance money for IF treatments and here we are almost a year later from my last RE appt. and I am still NOT pregnant.

My first son I got pregnant the third month.
My second son I got pregnant the sixth month.
My miscarriage pregnancy was a surprise.

Yes, this time is taking much longer. The first time BAM! Right away, and we only did it once that month. I didnt even realize I was ovulating, just started BDing unprotected.

Now, this is my 3rd cycle. I'm not temping or charting yet. My cycle is super predictable, 27 days on the dot for the past few months. I know when I'm ovulating. We're going to BD like crazy this time and if THAT doesnt work I'm not sure what I'll do, maybe go to my ob anyway bc I'm due for my annual exam, which I was putting off bc I thought I could just do it at my 1st sono.

It took us only 1 try for our DS over 3 yrs ago but now I'm on my 2nd cycle trying for my 2nd. :(

Age definitely has something to do with it. At age 30, a woman's chance to conceive each cycle is about 20% but that decreases to 5% as she nears 40.

First DS got pregnant on first try.

Second time around got pregnant on first time, but ended up having a missed miscarriage.

I'm now in a 2ww of month 3 of trying again..

I went to an RE and although she didnt' do any testing yet...after going over my medical history she said that she can almost guaranty that i won't have problems getting pregnant again..(despite my old age)..we shall see if she is right!

I think I will give it 2 more months of timed BD then I am going in.
