News 12 Long Island's Antoinette Biordi is in Hempstead where a 20-year-old woman has been arraigned on animal cruelty charges. Police say she suffocated an 11-year-old dog by wrapping a pair of hair ties around the dog's snout. Tune in at 5 p.m. for more on the story.

i saw this on news 12 fb also and just read the article on newsday which was not very helpful in providing information.
regardless... the woman should rot in hell.
