Any SAHMs in the Westbury, Hicksville, Garden City, Plainview, Jericho area??
I'm going to be a SAHM until at least January and I don't know anyone in the area with kids!! DD is 10 weeks old.
Anyone else near these areas with a DC around the same age??
What do you do with your DC all day?

I am in that area but my DD is 12.5 months. I'm a PTWM so I'm home 5 days a week.
We just moved here a year ago so we don't know anyone with kids either.
We go shopping (sometimes just walk around Target  ), walks around the neighborhood, go to the nearby playground.

I'm a FTWM but would suggest you think about doing stroller strides -- I did it durign my maternity leaev and it was a great way to get back in shape and meet other moms! They meet at eisenhower park on mon, wed, fri and sat.

I am and my DS is 9mo. We went to Einsenhower and Fuschillo Parks a lot in the summer. I just signed him up for a Music Together class as well!

I am in the area and my DS is 15 weeks old.
We go to the park and will be taking Music Together starting in 2 weeks.

I'm in hicksville and have 3 1/2 month twin girls. I wil be going back to work on part time but right now I lolol time by oing.for walks and to the mall. Sometimes the park and just walk around.

I'm in Levittown...I have a 6 month old DD and we both know the inside of Target very well LOL...we have also started going to the Bugs class at the Little Gym in Merrick, it's alot of fun and it gets us out!

for the time being im a SAHM. im not in those areas but pretty close by in Glen Oaks/Douglaston/Great Neck. my DD is 3.5 months. i would love to do stroller strides or something to work out and i am looking into other mommy and me type things although im not sure what i would do with a 3.5 month old. i also cant spend too much $$!!

it really is alot of fun! each week it gets better and better b/c ally can do more. plus i get to talk to adults!!!

I live in Plainview and I'm home. Ben is 5.5 months old. We do gymboree, rockin tots, and a mommy and me class. Were always around for a playmate.
