D&C Question

I am having a D& C in a few weeks..Dr is finally get the rest of that tissue so we may complete the test!!!

Is it true that after you have a D& C you become more fertile??? Or is this just a myth?

I was hoping it was true. But I didn't get preggo the 1 or 2 month after my d&c, so for me it was just a myth.

i had my d&c to remove a polyp last week

holy shih tzu i had so much ewcm come out of me yesterday. i cant remember the last time that happend.

going for a follow in a few weeks then i should be good to next cycle.

im hoping its true

I had a D&C yrs ago due to m/c and I vaguely remember the doc/nurse telling me to be careful for a few weeks b/c I could easily conceive again.
I dont know if it has to do with the fact that you are being dilated for it or what.

Thanks Ladies!!! I'm having a D&C done so my Dr can collect the tissue that is needed to complete my biopsy! So far everything has come back normal!! I am being put out so now she will have a better look to see how everything else is. She tried to do it in the office but it's unbearable pain for me! If I can't go through that how is Labor going to be!!!!!!

I have heard that woman could be more fertile after this...I wasn't sure if it was a myth of not..but that would be wonderful if I got Preggo after this!!!!

personally i think it's just a myth. but some girls swear it's true... some say it cleans you out and they got preg within a short time frame.

for me... it took over 9 months after my dnc to see another positive.

hopefully you are like the girls who get preg right away though. good luck!
