Best way to carry a huge, heavy carseat through the airport?
We are flying again this month and DH is dreading having to drag our huge, heavy Britax through the airport.
I remember someone posting about a "thing" they used to carry/roll the carseat through the airport that wasn't expensive. I don't want to spend $70 on this.
Any recs?

We use a JL Childress cars seat bag with wheels. It make it so easy to travel with a car seat. We have taken the Britax with us several times already. You can get it on amazon.
ETA: It's $38 on Amazon.

We checked it with our luggage to avoid carrying it.
One of my friends (and many on here) recommended getting the Cosco Scenara since it's lighter for travel and easier to lug through an airport (and it's only $40).

I posted about the strap to attach your carseat to a rolling carry on bag. Worked GREAT for our trip to Disney!
It's a simple strap and pretty cheap on Amazon. Just hook the carseat's latch straps onto each end and hook it. Easy peasy.
I copied this from my post in June:
We were hoping to have an extra empty seat so that we could sit DS in his carseat. That didn't happen so we gate checked the carseat. I highly recommend this silly little strap I got from Amazon - we were able to strap the carseat on to our carry-on bag so we didn't have to carry the carseat through the airport; we just rolled it with the carry on. HIGHLY recommend! Car seat strap - LINK

We bought a car seat bag from one step ahead. It wasn't that expensive. And we were able to throw a bunch of other stuff in with it.

Re: Best way to carry a huge, heavy carseat through the airport?
I saw lots of people just using one of those folding luggage carts (they are just a frame on wheels - for about $15-30) and you bungee the seat to that. You can just wheel it thru the airport - and you can even put a bag on the seat.
Otherwise, we got a car seat bag it has a strap and DH carried it over his shoulder. The bag also has wheels and you can pull it
I have seen people flip it upside down and hang it on the back of your stroller.

We bought a bad from BBB, not too pricey. It can be rolled or carried backpack style. Just make sure you bring your carrier's rules on checking seats b/c they made us check ours going back when they shouldn't have.
