1st day of school kid pics on fb
Just curious, are you like ENOUGH who cares or do you like to see kids of friends and fam?
I'd have to say the first 2 or 3 were cute, now i'm like enough. Especially when the kid looks like they're pizzed off.

it doesnt really bother me but i do have to say Im glad I was born and went to school WAY before the internet/Fb/Twitter days. My mom might have taken pics of all of our "milestones" but they were put in a book and not "shared" with everyone, like is done now.

Agreed!! Thank GAWD no one has ever seen my flourescent spandex, multicolor scrunchy socks with matching scrunchy, earrings, tank top and keds with an off the shoulder tee shirt... There are definitely pictures somewhere, but I am so grateful there were no camera phones or internet back than....

The pictures don't bother me, I think they're cute but all the posts about how time flies and they can't believe their little one is all grown up, blah, blah, blah...
That I'm getting tired of, but I equate it to the 6876719871 status updates about anything that affects a large number of people I know, a la the hurricane, earthquake, etc.
It will die down eventually.

I am mean - I find it hilarious when the kids reach the point of visible annoyance, especially when it's a friend's kid and they look so much like their mom and dad when we were little.
It doesn't bother me. It's part of life and people share their lives on FB. Plus with some people, they are so far away, it's the only way I get to see their kids.

OMG....ITA with ya here! The 70's were not kind to kids' fashions.

They actually don't bother me, they're cute. I've only seen maybe 5 or 6 today, but that might be because most of my friends are childless.

This pretty much sums it up. When I think of some of the horrendous school pictures buried deep in my mom's basement...

I like them, but I don't have a ton of people posting them. Most only; posted 1. A very close friend made an album & it was great.
She has twins & 1 was much more excited to go to school than the other.
And the twins hugging each other in their soccer uniforms was pretty much the cutest thing I've seen.
