we just had to tell our mortgage broker what we were earning and answer a few questions over the phone and then we got a pre-qual letter. I think thye pulled our credit to see how much we could afford.

SS #'s and income for the initial pre-qualification. Afterwards, we needed our credit stuff, like pay stubs and credit card stubs.
