How long for test results?

I had my pap smear about 3 weeks ago. I had blood tests last Friday.

How long for results. Should I just take it that no news is good news?

Also, how long after your 12 week ultrascreen did they tell you the results?

Trying to remember. Unless it comes back inconclusive or irregular I don't think I ever heard back from my OBGYN.

Your pap results they usually only contact you if something is off. With the 12 week sono, they can read the sono right away but the blood work portion it took one week for me to get those results

for the NT scan, it's couples with blood work. If nothing comes back abnormal on the scan, your first part of the blood work is sent out. you will go back about 15 weeks or so for the second part of the blood work. Once they 2 parts are analyzed, it should be a week or so for the results.

My ob has never called me after a PAP unless something was wrong or not normal.
