Catholic Schools
I have four years to decide but I'm almost certain that we are sending DS to public school but the school or my mind could change in that amount of time so I would like to do my research.
There is a Catholic School in our village that a lot of the families here send their children to. At one time, most if not all of the families sent their kids to this school, St. Martin of Tours, but I have noticed in the past few years that parents are starting to send to St. Rose and St. William the Abbot so this makes me think that there is something better about the other schools that they would send their kids to them instead of their local parish and closer school.
Is there anyway I can find out the schools? Academics, sports, teachers, etc and see what they are seeing that is helping them make these decisions? Or does anyone have any info on these 3 schools?

Re: Catholic Schools
Each Catholic school in the Diocese of RVC has a webpage for their school. Here's the webpage with the link to each of the schools.
Link
You can click on the link to see what information about each school you can find.
I think the best way to get a sense for each school is to visit them when the time comes. Go to the open house, and also take advantage of the open houses they have while school is in session. Most school have it during Catholic Schools Week, which is last week in Janurary/first week in February. Every school is different, from the amount of students to the resources available.
My kids go to a Catholic school, which we completely love. Before sending them, we did visit 2 others in neighboring towns and just got the best feel for the one that happened to be our parish school as well.
One of my friends from HS sends her boys to St. Martin's and she loves the school. She is very involved and her boys love it too.

Sure, why not! They may have a sign up sheet just to track who comes, but I never got called or anything from any school I went to visit. Not sure how old your children are, but some of the schools start with a pre-K 3 program.. So it might not be as early as you think!
