New WW rules / points etc

I joined WW back in 2000 and since then have had two kids so have started and stopped several times.

I went back this morning and they told me that the rules are changed and they are no longer using the slide thing that we used to use....has anyone just used the slide thing anyway and lost weight that way or have you got on board with the new rules and embraced it?

I know I need to read the literature and sign up online so I can keep track but wonder if its worth going with the new rules or should I just stick to what I used to do and what I know and works?

Thanks

My dad did WW in 2003 and had all the books and info and he gave it to me. I am using the "old points" system and losing weight consistantly... 2 pounds per week. If you have all your old stuff and it worked then, it will work now too. No need to spend money on the new system IMO

I will say this, I thought about continuing with the old system rather than trying the new one, but ultimately went to the new way, and I find it so much easier to stick to, personally. But either way will workChat Icon

Most of my friends who liked the old system ultimately changed to the new system because truthfully, there was a lack of support. WW is using the new program and all of their online/gadget apps/meetings, etc. are using the new rules and points. Plus, even on these online communities (all communities- not just saying this one in particular) people who tend to use the new system sometimes don't support you if you mention that you are using the old. I would say if you are starting fresh and want to get serious about it, go with the new!
