TEACCH ALBANY?
How do you contact a human being here? Applied for my professional license and paid for it over a month ago and is still "not ready for review"????

Just letting you know that I applied in June. I spoke to someone in August since my cert expired at the end of August and they said that they were reviewing applications from May 2011 and hopefully by the end of September it will go through. I had to apply for an extension just to make sure I had a valid certification.

I applied for an additional certification in July through Teach and still hadn't heard anything. I contacted my local Boces office who told me that Albany is backlogged and right now it's taking 6-9 months for them to review applications However, when I applied, my credit card was charged that very same day.... Good luck-I know you can ask your district to request expedition.

If your application needs to be pushed through (it is expiring) your superintendent can contact them directly. They have a special number.
If you have time, you can get a person on the line - you just need to go through the prompts a million times.....

You should definitely contact them. I applied in November, but had to send in new transcripts/proof of mentor training. It was updated about 14 days after I sent it in (February) and said pending. Mine was approved in March.
