- Told parents after BFP
- Told siblings after first appt when we heard the heartbeat
- Told close friends in between
Everyone else at 12 weeks!

You sound like me, . I told some people at work, like my boss and close friends there because of the type of work I do. DH told everyone he knows. I told about 75% of my friends but was trying to hold out til Thanksgiving to tell my family. Thought that would be nice but, Im going to see most of them next weekend and wanted to tell them then. I was dying today when I ran into 1 of my aunts but, she would steel my thunder and tell everyone before I got the chance.

If it were up to me, I wouldnt ever tell anyone else, but my parents and inlaws have been telling people on the DL!
I guess I'll tell everyone else at 12 weeks.

My mom and dad the day I got my BFP..siblings at 7 weeks...havent told anyone else yet. Waiting until 12 weeks before I let the world know :)

I still haven't told anyone except my sis and our 3 BFF.
The only reason i didnt tell my mom is because i know we would want to tell everyone and i would end up doing it. But i have 2 young sisters and a niece so i didn't want to have to give them bad news God forbid something happened. But Monday we have our NT scan so i am going to tell the world then.

I told my parents the day after we got our bfp. Dh told a friend and coworker that same day. I only have 2 friends that know. And that's all I think who knows. I wanted to wait until next fri to have my first appt to find out what's going on and then I'll share with more people.

I told strangers right away.  I think I told everyone that I had contact with. Didn't matter if I told them since they didn't know me or my family.
I waited to tell family until 8 weeks. Then everyone else at 12 weeks.

my parents, inlaws and bil & sil right after BFP. a group of close friends, like a week later. totally unplanned tho. I was at brunch and they were interrogating me because i got decaf coffee and declined the drinks included with brunch i crumbled under the pressure
I told a few more close friends since and 2 coworkers this week (i'll 11 weeks). I'm telling everyone after my ultrascreen next friday.

I'm terrible at keeping secrets. I'm 9 weeks and mostly every family member knows by now. Facebook, I'm going to wait awhile. My sister in law is pregnant (20 weeks) and my sister is pregnant (6 weeks) both with their first so I plan on staying low key for a while.

friends/extended family 13 weeks
will probably tell work around 15-16 weeks when I can't "hide" anymore

Told my bff a few days after I found out. Told our parents and siblings at 5.5 weeks. We told a few other close friends around 8 weeks. Waiting till after the NT scan to tell extended family and coworkers...one more week to go and I can't wait!

Told our parents & sibings within the first 2 days. Extended family over the next few weeks....MIL has a big mouth so we couldn't keep it quiet.
Work knew basically right away and then friends around 10 weeks.
