So frustrated
I have been working out heavy duty workouts twice a week. Been running at least 2 miles 2 other days during the week. Eating very healthy and small portions and the scale has not budged in over 2 weeks. Nothing, not even a half of a pound.
What am I doing wrong???
DH is doing pretty much the same workout and is down 15 lbs in a little over a month.

Re: So frustrated
Last year I needed to lose 25 pounds for my wedding. When I started working out hard and eating right and was doing everything I was supposed to, I also went a few weeks without losing anything. But I was realizing that my clothes were fitting differently.
Dont focus on the scale so much right now. Eventually the scale started moving in my favor but it did take a while.
Good luck! Keep up the great work, it'll pay off soon.

Re: So frustrated
Honestly, I started trying to lose weight in April, and the scale didn't budge until July when I decided to drastically cut carbs. I have 1-2 servings a day (usually 1), and it is lite whole wheat toast or sweet potatoes. I do eat fruit though. And when I do drink (one a week or less), I drink Amstel Lite since it has the least amount of carbs. I've lost 13.5 lbs since July.

Are you keeping a food diary and tracking your macronutrients?

Re: So frustrated
What are you hard workouts like? If I only ran, 4 miles a week I do not think I would lose any weight. How many minutes does it take for you to run the two miles?
I know many people on this site say diet is important, but I think exercise is just as important - 4-5 days a week - 45 minutes minimum.

I do workouts 2x a week at a gym w/a trainer an hour each time. I run around 45-60 minutes 2x a week, how far I run depends on how I feel after my workout from the day before, timing is still the same though.
I watch my food and diet, lots of fruits and veggies and protein, very little carbs. I think and maybe more so hoping that the number isnt moving because Im gaining muscle but who knows right now.

What are your portions like? Even veggies and fruits and grilled chicken still contain caolories so if your portions are too big you will not see changes. Track your portions and macro nutrients for a few days to see.
As for the workouts, I need to do more than 2 weight/cardio workouts a week to see results. However, the diet is most important in the end.
