Holy Acne!
I look like I'm 14 all over again but it's somehow even worse than I remember. It's all over my face, my back, my chest, and even on my neck! I've been avoiding any acne creams or face washes but it's getting unbearable. Anyone have any recs for something I can use that's safe? Is it worth going to the dermatologist? TIA!
(PS does this mean I'm having a girl?  )

i used the Belli Pregnancy acne face wash, and it def. helped. got it at CVS but it was in a special display - not with the regular facewashes/acne meds. good luck!

I use the same Clearasil Acne face wash that I used prior to pregnancy.

I went to my dermatologist and got a cream that is safe for pregnancy. He said to avoid clearasil and anything with salycilic acid. I still look awful--had it just as bad with my first, which was a  , so who knows. My derm. said the mix of testosterone from boys with our hormones creates worse acne.

My skin has been horrible throughout pregnancy too. I'm 21 weeks. My dermatologist prescribed a topical treatment that my OB ok'd. Sometimes it seems to help... other times, not so much. I'm having a  ...

My skin is awful too! I am so embarrassed that I wont let DH seem my back

My face is getting a bit better though. I feel like everything looks weird. My skin even when not broken out is sort of pale and my hair is dull

Ugh! I had HORRIBLE skin in the beginning! It's just starting to clear up a bit at 19 weeks... I found that Trader Joe's has a skin care line with tea tree oil that is safe and pretty effective. And I'm having a ! lol
