Re: dog grooming

Our place charges around $50 for our small dog - we tip them $10 becuase he's a puppy and still learning the grooming process so isn't the best just yet.

If you like the cut, I would give 20%.

I tip $20 for my two dogs, who cost $100 total to be groomed.

Re: dog grooming

Our last grooming was $42 and we tipped $5. I wasn't overjoyed with it. They didn't really do much. I didn't want them to cut her hair too much since we have cold weather coming up, but they didn't even clcean up her face/eye area as well as I'd ahve liked them to. But at least she was clean and her toenails were clipped nicely so I did give them something.

Re: dog grooming

Did not tip the groomer b/c he is the owner. It cost $37.45 to groom him- included ear cleaning and nail clipping. I didn't think that was too bad.

I see. If I loved the cut, even still I would tip $5 or so. But I go overboard sometimes so not sure if you should go by me.

We tip, and usually generously, because our dog is a major handful. She's pretty big and very squirmy Chat Icon so we are grateful when a groomer is not only able to handle her, but also return to us with a smile still on their face.

Re: dog grooming

Of course, tipping the groomer is a must do thing to do. It’s an old tradition to tip your groomer. Groomers have been older in profession than IT professionals.
