issues with socks?

my niece is 7 and for the past 3+ years, she has had an issue wearing socks. they are uncomfortable to her, and she cant stand the line across the toes. she is driving her mom (my sis) crazy.

i can empathize, b/c i remember when i was a kid i had issues with the sock lines too.

my niece slept over this wknd and this topic came up. my hubby never heard of this and thought we were both crazy, lol

are we alone here? or is this somewhat of a common issue?

My daughter is the same way...she says that they get stuck in between her toes..I guess it's the seam..so I've started to pull the sock at the toes and than either fold the seam over or under..she says its more comfortable, to me looks more uncomfortable.

My son is the same way- It was so bad, last winter, that I just had to allow him NOT to wear socks. It was either a screaming match or he would sneak them off in the car on the drive to school. I bought him some Ralph Lauren socks before school started to see if they would be comfortable enough for him (I've bought almost every other brand of sock made!)- So far, so good! I don't know what it is about them, but they seem to work for him :)
