Busted!
Being the neurotic, impatient person I am, after speaking with my agency, I emailed to confirm when my HS would be sent over to Korea. No answer to my email, so I called. Got my answer on the phone but it wasn't like a, "It's been sent" thing, it was more of a "It usually is sent ...." type of thing. So I looked up Spence Chapin online and emailed the Korea Coordinator there. I emailed my agency again. Spence Chapin emailed back but it was cc'd to my agency with a note to our agency to re-forward the request from them! So now my agency thinks that I'm even more annoying than I am! Hi, I'm drinking wine and don't think I'm even making sense right now, but I'm making myself laugh. I just wish someone would say, "Your HS was sent to Korea today!" I feel like everyone else on the online community knows when their homestudies were sent over .... why do I have to keep checking??
Update: DH called NB today and was told that we are not to contact Spence Chapin directly anymore and that checking on the status of our homestudy is not going to make things go quicker. We were originally told that our homestudy would go to Korea the day after we received our I171H. I knew that was too good to be true. And now we are not allowed to call to ask for an update on it either. So now I will sit and wait on the patience train with the rest of you.
