I just finished Emily's Birthday Cake!
Her party is tomorrow so I wanted to get the cake made today before she came home from school!
She loves the color purple and is all about being a rock-star so I made her a purple guitar cake this year! I got a guitar cake pan from AC Moore. I made the chocolate cake and buttercream frosting homemade since my Mom can't have any dairy or milk due to Crohn's Disease! I also used a little bit of fondant to make some of the decorations on the cake!
The only problem is that it's too big for my tupperware cake-taker! So now I'm off to the bakery to see if I can buy a box from them that it will fit in!

Great Job, AC Moore and Joanns have the akes boxes also. I also think Party City has some too.

Great Job, AC Moore and Joanns have the akes boxes also. I also think Party City has some too.
We live in walking distance from a bakery so I walked up there and they sold me a box for a dollar! So it worked out!

WOW! I'm impressed!
We did a 'Rock and Roll' theme for Noah's 4th bday and I paid a ridiculous amount of money for Audrey's to make me a Guitar cake. I WISH I had your talent!!
