has anyone heard of a pugel?

My bil & Sil got one it is pretty cute but does anyone know their temperment

they are a mix between a pug and a beagle.
its hard to know their temperment b/c theyre not a real breed and havent been around for a long time like most breeds. they are a new designer dog, so its still alittle early for their temperments to have been studied in a whole group.
i am sure a few people on here have one and can tell you their dogs personal temperment though.

While Jess says "designer dog" I tend to see it as a glorified mutt....we have one that we adopted off petfinder.com.

He's pretty good-still a puppy though. He has his issues like major separation anxiety and he still can't hold his bladder a full 8 hours like my 3 year old Rottweiler can. It seems puggles are VERY cuddly-Boomer loves to sleep under the covers or right next to one of us all curled up or stretched out lengthwise. He's also pretty lazy--he sleeps all night, wakes up to go potty, then if he has the opportunity to curl up on th couch if we're home-he sleeps for another 4 hours!!!

He knows a few commands and is very friendly. A little too adventurous-he'll run off if we take him off the leash in the backyard (we don't have a fence yet)
