Trick or Treating. Am I the only one...

that hates it? I used to LOVE it as a kid, but now that I have my own, I hate the idea of walking up to someones house and getting candy.

I don't mind passing out the candy at my own house. I guess I just prefer the Safe Halloween events they offer at the school I work in and our own home district.

I am such a debbie-downer. My DH likes to take them and does. Last year I stayed home with the two year old twins...this year I will suck it up and go.

i don't really care for it either! Half the neighborhood doesn't participate, and most of the ones that do seem bothered....usually on the phone, etc. We only go out for about an hour. I much prefer the parties, etc.

I hate Halloween. I hate the creepy stuff and I hate trick or treating. I find it very stressful because a lot of people don't slow down driving and I worry about my kids getting hit by a car. I wish we could just bypass the whole day.

Last year was the first year we went and my kids are 5 & 6. My ds has several food allergies so it's pointless for us to go, I have to keep everything out of the house anyway due to cross contamination. But they were begging so we went. I guess we'll do the same this year, I ended up donating it to Operation Gratitude.

We live in the same neighborhood as when I was a kid so we know almost everyone as they still live there-lol!!
I love it because of that reason.
