The Apple Festival is at the Grange (Broadway and Montauk in Sayville) on Saturday. I'm not going this year.. but it's usually nice.
The 28th is the Boat Burning at the Maritime Museum. Annual tradition for us.. we love it.
The 29th is the Sayville Halloween/Fall Festival. The kids always march in the costume parade and they'll have vendors and what not.
My favorite event is next month.. Miracle on Main Street in Sayville. Santa, Reindeer, Movies, Vendors, Carousel, Dancers, Music. The whole town lights up.

Not sure where you live but Long Beach Fall Festival is this weekend & on Sat is the costume parade and trophies. Its really cute

Town of Babylon Fall Festival in Lindenhurst... Free Admission..hay rides, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, games, face painting, food, music, etc

22nd- Tanger (Riverhead) is hosting AAA Spooktacular- totally free- safe trick or treating, pumpkin picking, pony rides, crafts and a lot more
