Anyone have a success story about turning a breech baby after 37 weeks?
DD is breech. I am 37 weeks 2 days. I had a vaginal birth 19 months ago with DS. My OB performed a version this morning at the hospital and it was unsuccessful unfortunately (and painful too). I have a tentative C section date for 2 weeks from now but OB said I can make it as late as 2 weeks after my Due date (which would be 11/10). I have tried all the spinning babies tasks and I have an acupuncture appointment tomorrow. OB told me there is a 10-15% chance she can move before now and time she is born. I am petrified of a C section and the recovery especially with an active toddler at home. I would love to hear that there is some hope! Thanks in advance!

have you tried to cat stretch or putting earphones on your lower stomach with music? i was a little earlier then you when i started doing it and it seemed to work (or could be coincident). i put headphones on my lower stomach and played music. the baby is suppose to turn to the music. can't hurt to try!
ETA: I only did the music 1x/day for 5mins. I read that after that it becomes too much for the baby. I did the stretches morning and night.

See a chiropractor that specializes in the Webster method. DS successfully turned around 36 weeks and didn't turn back. There are you tube videos that show the adjustment, it's totally safe and non-invasive. I would do that hefore a version any day. Plus there's a high success rate.

Well I tried the version and it didn't work. I will look into the chiropractor. Any recommendations? Who did you use?

My DD had turned on the day I went in for my scheduled c-section (38 wks), so I delivered vaginally. However, I had twins, so she ended up turning back breech after I delivered DS...but, that won't be an issue for you

I played music on my belly and it worked or, like PP said, could've been a coincidence. I delivered naturally 10 days after my due date with 2 rounds of induction.

I used Dr. Anthony Carrinno in West Islip. If my next DC is breech I won't go back to him though because he's very preachy about things. He also wanted me to continue seeing him 3x a week even after the baby turned. I stopped going at 38 weeks. You can find Webster certified chiropractors by your zip code here (change the area in 'search for' to Webster certified):

Good luck!

My was breech until 38 weeks. I didn't do anything (I was a scheduled c-section anyway) but he turned on his own... there's still hope! Good luck!

My daughter was breech at 36 weeks, scheduled a section for 38 weeks, the little rascal had turned...on the night before my due date...she turned so violently that my water broke. I felt a giant movement and my water broke. She didn't turn again, so I had a section. Good luck!
