Runners who have a treadmill at home
I'm looking to buy a treadmill for our home and I plan on using it exclusively for running so I need something really sturdy. Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for me? And if you wouldn't mind telling me approx how much you paid I'd appreciate it, just so I can get an idea of what to expect.

Do you know which model you have? I was looking at the S77, but in the reviews on amazon some people complained that it was slow to change speeds. Just wondering if it's just that model or across the brand? Have you noticed that problem at all?

Re: Runners who have a treadmill at home
I have an older model proform, i bought it used a few years ago and used it a lot for the past 3+ years. It is not acting crazy (belt moves different from set speeds, like a fast sprint on 2 mph and super slow on 6 mph ) But like I said its old and has been used a lot. So I wouldnt recommend my exact model but i do like proform as an affordable home gym brand. my elliptcal is also a proform.

I had a Proform and now I have a Nordic Trac. I like both. I have no idea how much either one cost though, since they were both hand me downs.

I bought a Nordic trac c2100 7 years ago for ~$1000. It recently needed a slight tuneup, but it's still going strong.
