Guiliana Rancic

I am so very sad for Guiliana, I was so happy to hear that she was going to annouce something today, and when I heard it was breast cancer and not a baby, my heart hurt....I have been following her story for years, her show with her husband has helped my husband and I talk about & deal with all the emotions that come along with infertility....and now she has this to overcome cancer now too...its truly unbelievable...I am rooting for her to get thru this and get the baby she deserves....

Its so sad. I dont know her personally (obviously) but she seems like a good person. I dont understand why bad things happen to good people.

I def. connected with her infertility story, we started watching the show just to see what to expect at certain stages etc ......and I agree it does seem like these things happen to good people, I guess we just have to hope there is a reason for things like this to happen.

this saddens me so so much..i have been a fan of the show and of them for years and have followed every move they make bc i just feel like she is so open about IF and i am glad someone talked about it bc it is like a taboo subject along with mcand i do not know why

i just do not understand why this happens..

It is very sad, indeed. She was the first star that I can remember to admit going through IF treatments, and I prayed for them all of the time.

I can't imagine how stressful it is to have the cameras following you around while going through it and having half of hollywood pregnant around her. I know how I feel every time People announces someone is pregnant.....

I was reading all of the articles last night and I found one of the lines she wrote amazing. It went something like. I will have a baby, and one day I will tell him/her that they saved my life. I know she was referring to the fact that her IVF doctor demanded the mamo before doing another treatment. Her positive attiude is amazing, and I truly believe she will be on the cover of people in a few years with her baby with a title "they saved my life". I just can't wait to see it.

Totally agree with all of you and her comment about her future baby saving her life....MY OB gyn had sent me to get a mammo as soon as I turned 35 and told her I was having difficulty conceiving naturally, thankfully she did this because I would normally not have had one either until I was 40...well I found out that I had a cluster of suspicious calcifications which would not be detected with normal self breast exams. Had the biopsy done and thankfully just got the notice recently that nothing's changed...but who knows what would have happened if I waited until 40 and we were not watching it as closely as we are doing now. I firmly believe in mammos before 40, and even more so right before IVF for sure....Guiliana's strenghth, humor and refusal to quit is inspriring ...I happen to think her husband too is equally amazing too...best of luck to them and all of us of course with boobs and babies

My heart really broke for her when I read this. I hope she can have her baby soon and I love how she said this baby saved her life and she will have it.
