I HATE Braden Looper!!!!

There was NO good reason for the Mets to lose that game! With all the gifts the yankees gave us with their bobbles and errors, we should have had that with no problem!!!

There is no way we are making to the playoffs with these closers. TWe wouldn't survive the first round. I feel so bad for willie....this win would have been sweet cuz washington and philly lost, we would have gained a game...But like the song goes "2 out of 3 ain't bad"...especially when it comes to playing the yankees...and let's face it we did kick a** this weekend
I thought I was going to puke at how many times the sports announcers were mentioning that it was Jeter's Birthday, i'm sorry but it was one too many times...ok happy birthday, let's move on..oye vay every damn inning they mentioned his freaking b-day. I had to double check the tv cuz for a moment I thought I had on the YES channel....now that this headache is over the next one starts, we have more importants teams to play, like the teams in our division.
Thank You Looper, and Heilman, and Hernandez, and Ring...our closers should be renamed the openers cuz that what they do, they open up the game for the other team...

Oh about the bet...I wonder what happens cuz when you think about it the whole subway series was a split...the yankees won 3 and so did the mets.

They bet on who would score more runs... not who would win more games.
I believe the Mets scored more runs thanks to yesterday's blowout.
Don and Felicia had the same bet last year and Don won it last year too cause the Mets scored more.

I'm starting to question some of Willie's moves. I think I would have left Benson in to face at least one more batter. He was keeping the Yankees so off balanced. Then, I question of replacing Ring. Why not leave him in there so Posada could bat right-handed? We really gave them last night's game. Like Omar said in the interview, we need some real help in the bullpen.

Our closers are the worst! Doesn't matter who you put in...you are going to break a lot of sweat!
We did hand them the win. The worse is we made Giambi the hero of the game for them.. We should have at least struck him, of all people out.

The only good thing about this is... we will DEFINITELY improve our bullpen this off-season.
After watching the Yanks game yesterday... I can really picture BJ Ryan in Mets pinstripes as our closer next year.
