Retail positions - $$$?
what's a starting salary for a clerk in retail, non-management.
(a store like Macy's, Target, Gap)

This is pretty accurate for a non-commission position. My mother works in HR for a major retailer, and the starting salary for someone with no experience is just over $8 per hour for a cashier.
