McKenna or Makenna
DH says its a last name but I really like the name

I like MacKenzie...the girl on the TV show 7th Heaven had that name. I always thought that was different and unique

I have a McKenna in class and I love that name. However, everyone always says McKenzie the first time they say her name- she's always correcting teachers.

I like them but I think McKenna is too confusing. I think I went to school with Brian McKenna or maybe Chris? Anyway,
I picture it like this:
what's your name?
"McKenna"
"OK and FIRST name?"
kinda thing. I say this b.c I had a friend named Meredith Joseph and her papers were always being filed wrong and receiving wrong mail, confused calls, documents would get screwed up....
but if you spelled it Makenna, that probably would take care of that.

I agree with your husband on McKenna. I like Mackenzie, but not when it's spelled with a capital "K," it's too last namish that way.
