Anyone read The Lefovers by Tom Perotta?

Has anyone read The Leftovers by Tom Perotta?

I've been reading library books only for the past two months to try to spend less money. I really want to read this one, but my library doesn't have it as an ebook.

Is it worth buying it?

It was very good!! I took it out of the library. I usually take books out of the library and if it's something I like enough to want to read again, I will buy it.

If you're looking for a book about "the rapture," this isn't it. It's a book about how people cope with a world-shattering event.

If you like "classic" Perrotta like Election and Little Children, you will like this. I love his prose and his characterization. If I had any complaint, it was that it left off rather abruptly.

Silly question, but couldn't you just request the actual book from the library?
