so I bent over and clear liquid came dripping out of my nose

I'm not sick - it kind of just came out of nowhere. I bent over while cleaning and heard liquid drops, then realized it was my nose. I looked it up online and it said I could be leaking brain fliuid! I'm hoping it's just something random - has this happened to anyone?

its weird because it's not dripping otherwise. I bent over and it just came out like water....

Do you do nasal rinses or use any type of nose drops? Sometimes I will get this after using one of those items, because a little pocket of liquid will get stuck somewhere and bending over is just the right angle to get it moving.

Or, I've also had it happen with just mucus if its thin enough.

Right now Im so stuffed up, nothing can move in there, in or out, including air!

Yes. This.

I think for it to be brain fluid you would have had some kind of serious injury - and it would be continuous. I could be wrong though - but, I did look into this a bit when I had sinus surgery b/c I am a huge worry wart and this was one of the possible but rare complications

It's probably just from your nose, not your brain. I had that the last day or two, my nose would drip out of nowhere and then go away.

I wouldn't worry just yet. See if it keeps happening.

i think if your brain were leaking you'd have other, much worse and obvious neurological symptoms

it honestly could be anything related to your sinuses... maybe you caught some water in there when you were swallowing, allergies, etc.

I get this sometimes when my sinuses are really swollen even when I can breathe fine through my nose. I don't always feel it but a day or two afterward it will open up on me. Try some tylenol or a hot shower and some spicy foods and see if your sinuses open up. For me it happens when I'm having allergy issues.

Yups! It would happen when I bent over to fluff my hair and it was like water pours out of my nose! Quite alarnming the first time it happpened!!

This happened to me and I went to my Doctor. I was told it was allergies. I have never had allergies before in my life and this year due to the crazy weather. I have developed them... Take an allegra or benedryl and it should stop...
