Car seat for 35+ lb toddler
DD is 2 1/2 and about 37 lbs. We need another car seat and am not sure which one to get. The convertible car seats really only go up to 40 lbs forward facing, and the boosters definitely don't look safe for her at this point. Is there something in between?? Any brands that you can recommend? TIA

The Britax Marathon goes up to 65. The Britax Roundabout 50 goes up to 50

Graco Nautilus, Graco Argos, Britax Frontier all are FF harness to 65/70/85lbs and then convert to Booster
Most convertibles sold now go to 65lbs, but there are unfortunately a few lingering out there that are still 40.

Britax has a seat that goes up to 70lbs.

I have the evenflo symphony 65 and love it. It's allowed to be rear facing to 45 lbs, forward facing with harness to 65 lbs and a high back booster to 100 pounds (or until the child's height exceeds the adjustable headrest.) If I remember correctly it had good ratings on consumer reports too, exceeding some britax seats

My evenflo car seat is amazing!!! It goes up to 100 lbs! My 2 year old is 38 lbs and has been in it since about 18 months. I love it and I wish I had another one for my baby, cause his car seat is horrible!

i have the same car seat and absolutely LOVE it!
i was between Symphony and the Trufit seat. Basically, they are the same. Can be had at Buy Buy Baby with a coupon for 150 or so.
Tru fit goes up to 65lbs.

We have the britain advocate cs that goes to 70lbs and the graco myride that goes to 65
