is hormone or fertility pills for me ??

i have a question as some as you already read my husband has a low sperm count and my doctor reffered me and my hubby to a fertility clinic to start IUI treatments. the only problem is i called the fertility center and our health coverage does not pick it up ! the consultation alone is a few hundred dollars and something we cannot afford. my question is do you think if i was to go on hormone pills or fertility pills it would increase our chances of getting pregnant. i just left my doctor a message and waiting for him to call me back. what do you ladies think?

If low sperm count is the problem, I don't think fertility meds are going to help increase your chances very much. I would even consider investigating moving right to IVF as IUI may not be your best option either.

Have you looked into natural ways to increase sperm count? Some ladies on here have done a lot of research and can give you some tips on where to look to help with the count.

All of the incidents of low sperm count that I knew of, at least severely low, tried a couple of IUI's but ultimately were IVF babies.

The success rate for IVF with low sperm count is very good if the female has no issues.
