BFP!
Hi ladies. I got my bfp yesterday (actually 4 yesterday, and 1 today ) I was due for my period today.
I tested on Fri with a First response, and it was neg, Sat and Sun with dollar tree, neg. Mon with dollar tree, neg, but after reading on here, I went back and checked hours later, and thought I saw the faintest line, but could have totally been imagining it
I bought the target brand of the ept yesterday, and not using fmu, I took a test and it was a faint positive, but def a positive! (I had gone to the bathroom about 45 min before taking the test) I held it in for 2 hours, and ran to get a digital....I tried the target one first, a slightly darker line, but still pretty light, and then the digital said pregnant
I was nervous about how light the lines were, so I took a digital later on in the day, without holding it in at all, and it still said pregnant.
Long story short (haha, not really) do faint lines mean anything?

A lines a line but you can't read those tests after like 5 mins or else you might get an evap line and think it's positive when it's not. I used dollar tree tests for my bfp and the line came up within 10 secs. And I took 4 of those. Same result each time.

Yes, faint lines do mean something. It is just that the further you get from when your period was due, the more hormones you have in your system and so you get a darker line. With this pregnancy we were TTC so I was testing RIGHT away, days before my period was due. At first the line was light.
Yet I remember getting my BFP when we concieved DD 6 years ago and the lines were so dark ... because we werne't trying and it was a surprise, and a week after my period was due I was like ooh maybe I should take a test!
Call your doctor, make an appt to confirm the pregnancy with him or her.

My line was super faint at first the second one was a little darker. Then I took a digital.

yes, I tested like 3 days before my period was due and it was a faint positive! I didn't trust it so I tested the following day with the same test and a digital. The line that day was SO much darker and the digital said yes

the line on my first test was sooooo faint (check my album) DH and I didn't believe it at first.
keep testing each day and take a digital. good luck
