FOUND DOG - UPDATE!
German Short Haired Pointer - Male, not neutered - in Massapequa Park this morning around 7:30. South of Sunrise - north of Merrick. Looks like his leash broke off or maybe he chewed it... Regardless, no tags.
He's not microchipped - I took him to my vet to check. He's very sweet but scared. I really can't keep him so the Town of Oyster Bay has been called and they are picking him up at some point today. I am trying to get the word out so his family can come get him!

Just a thought - You might want to call Town of Hempstead and Town of Babylon shelters to see if anyone reported a missing GSP. Maybe he lives in Seaford or Amityville.
Hope he gets back home.

He was picked up by his owner this morning at the shelter! So happy he is now home with his family.
