Please recommend your OBGYN who delivers at Stonybrook
My doctor will not be delivering at the hospital of our choice anymore. I am 6 weeks and still researching like crazy. It's driving me insane. Please please recommend a good obgyn. I live in Holbrook Thank you so much

schenfeld at 3village womens health (they are in patchogue and setauket)
or lochner at stonybrook ob (she has an office in sayville also)

i second three village. i am over 36 weeks and have been very happy with them so far. love the doctors and at the patchogue location, i never wait more than 5 min in the waiting room.

I'm in holbrook as well and see dr reavis on waverly. I think he is great and so is his staff. Office is pretty new and a small practice is a bonus for me. He takes his time with you and answers every question in detail. Very laid back doc. Makes you feel comfy!
And yes he delivers at stony brook

Sorry to crash but I can't resist telling people how much I love my OB/GYN!! I've only seen her 2xs but I'm madly in love 
I go to Stony Brook OB/GYN on 4 Technology Drive. I see Dr. Melissa Strafford, she is amazing! She is patient and caring.
I switched from my old practice because I wasn't happy with the care or bedside manner. Dr. Straffod listened to my concern and did her best to rectify the situation.
Good luck, it can be tough to find new Dr.

This pregnancy I switched from an OB to the Stony Brook Midwives. I live about 45-50 mins from the hospital but the midwives are worth it to me. The OB office that I was going to was horrendous.

I would definately recommend Stonybrook OBGYN. Dr. O'Keefe is excellent. He takes time explaining things to his patients and everyone at the office was really nice too.

they were all excellent with my switch. just try and get your records from your last office. I have seen a few ob's there, I also really lotner? I think thats the spelling of her name. You won't be dissapointed with them.

This makes me feel better. I'm so nervous about switching. I have been at the same OB office for almost 10 years. I wanted to switch right when I got pregnant but started to have issues and went back to my original office. My OB are great, but I don't want to deliver at St. Catherines again. I was told I have placenta Previa and may have a C-section and that was it for me. I knew Stony Brook is where I wanted to go. They already told me to bring my records. I hope my old office doesn't ask a million questions why I'm leaving.

I see Dr Porte, you will love him!!!!! He is so involved with his patients, he's even called me on my cell phone a few times. I highly recommend him, Dr. Lochner and Dr. O'keefe

I just had my c-section last week with Dr. O'Keefe and Lochner. I was very happy with both. During my pregnancy I mainly saw Dr. O'Keefe and he is truly a wonderful Dr.

I agree....I love Stonybrook OB GYN/ I live in Holtsville and I go to the sayville ofc. Dr Lochner is my doctor but I have seen Dr. Okeefe, Dr. Porte and Dr. Welischar. All of them are very good.
Dr. Porte delivered my dd. he is awesome. When are you due? I am due with Baby #2 and Dr. Lochner is currently my dr which i highly recommend. She is pregnant right now with her second and is due in Jan. So I am not sure when you are due...but all the other drs in that practice are wonderful.
