bloody nose
My DS (25 months) had a bloody nose last night ( at 4AM) and another last week.
What can I do to prevent a bloody nose? I have the humidifier on in his room. Anything else?

Re: bloody nose
vaseline & humidifier. My son suffered terrible bloody noses from maybe 2 - 8? Then they pretty much stopped. I really did worry about blood loss b/c it seemed so bad. He would wake up and there would be blood in his ears, hair, the whole pillow and bed covered. It was like a murder scene. They were going to cauterize his nose when he got a little older but then it stopped on its own... for now. I know it can be scary when theyre so little.

Re: bloody nose
Liam gets them constantly. The ENT looked and said his nose veins are just more bulgy. He said to keep the air moist and to put vaseline up there. You can also put Little Noses decongestant spray but, that seems to be only a temp. fix for me. I do vaseline 1-2 times a day. He HATES it. But, I HATE bloody noses... sooo
