About where newborns sleep
So we got 2 fisher price rock n play sleepers which I planned on keeping in our bedroom and having the boys sleep in those at night only.
My SIL went on and on the other day on how we should move on of their cribs into our bedroom so they can sleep together. She said twins need to be together, etc. Mind you she does not have twins.
Anyway, it got me to thinking, what do you ladies think we should do?
If it matters, during the day, we were going to let them sleep in one pack-n-play downstairs (bedrooms are upstairs). We have 2 pack n plays (but I figured we wouldn't need the second until they got bigger).

Re: About where newborns sleep
My twins sleep in their own cribs at night, and wherever they pass out during the day....swing, boppy, bouncy, rock n play
The first week I had them in the pack n play together and they hated it. They slept better in their own cribs.

My girls are 14 weeks and we're just now moving them into their crib. They slept in the fp rock n play all of this time.

Re: About where newborns sleep
my girls sleep in the pack and play together. they sleep better together.we had a p&p set up in our room, that didnt work out. in the end we have them sleeping in the living room and one of us sleeps on the couch in shifts. This ensures that one of us is getting solid sleep and not waking as they chatter or fuss in between feeds

Re: About where newborns sleep
My boys never slept together. They were in bassinets for the first week or two, then they slept in their bouncy seats for 3 months. Then we moved them into their own cribs.
When they were in their bouncy seats, we kept them in the living room at night. One of us was on duty (but would sleep on the couch in between feedings) while the other person got to sleep upstairs. We'd rotate in the middle of the night.
We have a PNP but used it only for diaper changes on the 1st floor of our house. The boys only slept PNPs when visiting family.

Re: About where newborns sleep
We used the Rock n Play sleeper.
I initially considered putting them together in the crib. But when they were in the nursery at the hospital they didn't even have their bassinets next to each other let alone them together. So I figured it wasn't necessary.
