Spinoff to FB picture thread--Let's talk constant status updates about children's bowel movements
Do we really need to see the frequency, consistency, color, smell, and my favorite (not!) the "my-child-picked-up-his-poo-and-drew-on-the-wall-with-it-so-I-took-a-picture-of-it-isn't-he-adorable?" statuses?
I had FOUR such statuses in my news feed this morning.
I am thisclose to posting a "My cat took an enormous, stinking dump in his litter box and here's a picture of the steamer" status.

See, that's what I thought. I am giving one woman ( a young new mother ) a pass because she's experiencing her first rotavirus and is overwhelmed.
The one with the picture has been deleted because she annoyed me anyway.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of these posts lately. Guess it's the latest FB trend? Repeat offenders will be blocked or deleted. Everyone gets a chance or two to screw up.

My aunt (who i cannot stand) posted a freaking VIDEO of her granddaughter smearing her poop all over the wall. She walked in after her nap to find her with her diaper off and "painting" the walls. It was all over the walls, crib, her face, hands etc..
In the video my aunt is laughing and pointing out all the areas. My cousin (the babies mother) was MORTIFIED. And we were all so grossed out. Totally disgusting and cruel i thought.
the video was removed but i just don't get it.
I have two kids and never once have commented on anything like that, not even if im dealing with a virus in the house. Who the hell needs to read about it??

whoaaaa thankfully my friends don't post status updates in that kind of detail but I have to admit, I get a little at the 'guess who rolled over' and 'look at my kid giggle' updates.. I mean... I GET that it's a big deal, but I feel like if I were a parent I wouldn't expect anybody else to care about those things besides me and dh and I guess the grandparents. Posting it so 250 of your friends could see? Ehhhhhh Maybe if I ever do become a parent, I'll understand that one.
